As I type I'm watching the iconic Oscar Winning, darkly comedic, slice of life Drama known as "There Will Be Blood." The movie stars Oscar Machine and well known method actor Daniel Day Lewis as well as Paul Dano, whom recently became the Riddler. The movie takes place between the late 1800s to the mid 1920s. Lewis plays Daniel Plainview. A prospector turned oil tycoon whom from a tip goes to Little Boston, which has in his words an ocean of oil. While he takes over land by land, he runs afoul of Eli Sunday. Played vy Dano, Eli is a rogue priest believing himself to be God's third chosen one. They naturally butt heads together.

The movie itself is a must watch. There are so many dramatic moments, scary moments and funny moments. Daniel earns his rep as an Oscar winner and Dano can be just as great.

The thing I like is that even though you are supposed to hate Daniel, you can't deny, the guy was good. He built an Empire literally from the ground up. From mining silver to doing Oil.

The oil itself is actually the milk shake mix they used to sell to McDonalds.

So many parodies came out of it.

Watch it when you can.
