CIEIR News Follow-Up: RIP Elizabeth II, Welcome King Charles III?

As we all know, after the tragic passing of Queen Elizabeth II, her son, the man formerly known as Prince Charles has succeeded her as King Charles III. Just yesterday he made a speech which honoured her loss, as well as appointed his son, Prince William, the Prince of Wales.

First and foremost I have this message to say to Charles himself. Your Majesty, I apologize for your loss. I know what it's like to lose a mother and I can imagine all the if you'll excuse my language, shit you're going through, but now you have a responsibility not just to your family and your country, but also the world. With that said I sincerely apologize for what I am about to say in the next part.

Before this, the only other time King Charles III made the news was in June of 1994. When he admitted to having an extramarital affair behind his wife's back, the then Princess of Wales Diana Frances Spencer. An affair that ended in the divorce of the two, as well as lead to Diana's Death on August 31st 1997, by way of vehicular manslaughter at the hands of paparazzi after the scandal broke out. Rumours have consisted of both Charles and Elizabeth arranging for the death for letting it come out in public. I myself won't go into them save for the following thing. If Charles didn't have much respect for his wife that he would cheat on her, then I say onto you all in the UK, what makes you think he can handle the responsibilities that lay in governing the country? However, while I ask that. I implore you to think long and hard about your answer. Many people have often had low expectations of the Royal Family especially when it came to the Princes. Yet despite that, they have often done things that taken us by surprise. Case in point Harry. Before we knew him for leaving the Royal Family with his wife Meghan Markle, was well known as the controversial party prince. A guy who once went to a costume party dressed up as Adolf Hitler for no other reason other than a cheap laugh. Yet he shocked the world when he joined the front lines during the Iraq War. Take away the fact that the Iraq War is one of the most controversial ones in the world. He risked death the possibility of being a high profile captive, just to join his fellow countrymen. I was shocked when I saw footage of him manning one of their biggest machine guns. Now Charles while there have been other problems in the royal family, both private and public, has been managing to stay on until his time as King came to pass, who knows what kind of plans he had even way before the scandals. This could end up being either the UK's Golden Age or it could be one of the biggest disasters the country has ever faced.

Either way, we'll just have to wait and see.
