Part of why this took so long was because at this point I'm past just wanting to make a healthy iced tea. I have now decided to go to phase two in which I can add other stuff to it, in an effort to turn this into the ultimate health drink.
If you read my previous articles of the subject, you'd know how I usually make my teas. This can apply to that procedure, however since I've misplaced my glass jar for the time being and was using equipment, such as the kettle that didn't belong to me at the time to make the tea, I have to improvise. So for this quick fix procedure I use the following:
1 Medium Sized 2 Litre Sauce Pan
1 Empty 2 Litre Soda Bottle. Ironically taken from the Brisk brand of Ice Tea I drank in the past.
8 Teabags of White Tea
1 bottle of liquid Chlorophyll Supplement
You heard that right. I'm adding Chlorophyll to the mix. I've done it before with Hot white Tea and the results were hit or miss, but I figured if I could add the metabolism boosting and fat burning power of White Tea with the power of nature's very blood itself, then maybe I may be one step closer into making it.
For this I boiled the sauce pan and let it set for room temperature. Unlike the kettle which had a more closed space, this took less longer to cool, because I had no lid to cover this. With the kettle it took 90 minutes to bring it to room temperature. With this? 45.
Once cooled, I placed 8 Teabags into the pot and set the timer to leave it steep for an hour. Since my teabags have that string flag stuff, I covered it with a lid to make sure they don't fall in. Since this is a 2L Bottle and 2 L equals roughly to 8 cups, one bag per cup.
Once the tea has finished steeping. I take the bags out, stir the tea and I pour it into the bottle. For now, it looks like this:
While I spilled it by accident, not quite making it up to 2L on the bottle, it has enough room for the next part.
Since the required amount is 5 Drops of Chlorophyll per 1 Cup or 5 ml to 250 ml. The 40 drops at 8 Cups or 40 ml at 2L should cause the Chlorophyll to make the tea look like this:
You can either shake it or turn the bottle slowly upside down and right side up to mix it, then once done, I put it in the fridge.
I will update on the taste and drink test on this article, so keep watch.
Update 4:08 AM Today:
After posting my Remembrance Day Blog I went to the Fridge and poured myself a glass of the stuff:
Despite the look on both it didn't make the tea turn black. It's actually a solid dark green. After trying the tea, much like other times I've tried the chlorophyll supplement before, I can't taste it. Which is good, because when I first tried this stuff I wanted to make sure it didn't leave a bad taste in my mouth. I can only taste the tea. So hopefully, if this works out, I will just be another step away from making the desired health drink.
Update 9:07 AM:
I am feeling the effects of the tea and chlorophyll combo. The caffeine in the tea gives a good energy boost. The chlorophyll seems to suppress my appetite making me feel somewhat full. As well as a few cleansing effects that I won't go into further detail because I don't want to gross anyone out. Point being though is that it's slowly cleaning my body inside and out and making me physically feel better as well as mentally and emotionally. Still I feel there is something missing.
Update November 13 2022 4:36 AM
I've had a smoke at about an hour before I posted this update and so far, I have not craved another like I usually do. This may actually help people physically quit smoking.
