I felt a tad bit offended in the ending, because I am American, but this is a nice story.

I meant no offence, but that kinda proves my point. Why should most number systems make you feel like you have less in your home when it looks like it is worth more in other homes.

Universality we should all switch to Celsius. I to am American, here is a simple guide to help convert your thoughts if you're still on the fence.

Ya. My main point is that the numbers in C are smaller than the ones in F so, I theorized that if you believe that despite 30 being hot as fuck, that it's not that small because of the small number, then it's not so hot. Mind over matter.
