I was originally gonna do it sun style. In which after getting room temperature water and the bags you place it near a window that catches the sun and let it steep that way, but there was no sun during the time I was preparing it and it was dark by the time it was ready to steep. So I just did the hour method.

Pretty much the same way I do it now only put it near a window when the sun is out. For a large jar, it would take about 3 - 5 hours. But since I'm using small 1 Cup Jars it may be faster than that. Right now as we speak, they're in the fridge getting colder. When they're ready, I'm gonna try each one, first unsweetened, then sweetened. Using a small amount of sugar for the latter. Just enough to get the taste.
