Dude, what we lack in those we make up for in determination and brutality. Take 1812 for example. American soldiers set fire to Fort York. We retaliated by burning all of Washington to the ground. Vimy Ridge. Neither side of WWI could take that one and it was believed that if one took that over it would end the War then and there. While it didn't Canada did what the Brits, U.S. and Germans couldn't do. They took that place showing they were more than just some British loyalists. That's just a few examples of the soldiers.

However, I'm not just talking about the soldiers when it comes to Canada. Much like the United States, the Citizens are just as scary if not scarier than the soldiers. Soldiers have rules, Citizens don't. Meaning if those guys managed to get some troops in disguised as refugees onto Canadian Soil or god forbid actually try to go after us on both sides of the land and they start blasting, they're not just gonna have to face military guards. They'll be facing cops, mounties, federal agents and every known Organized Crime Element in the country. All with itchy trigger fingers and all not afraid to fight dirty. Strictly speaking even Criminals are gonna want to tear these assholes apart and they will.

I invoke the old military history, because although the times have changed, the spirit remains the same. All these modern battles and every single person who has ever trained in the military regardless of branch, look into these moments and the tactics that come with it, because regardless of what timeline we are in, they are still effective.

Even the movies based on military stuff, invoked that a lot. Take Top Gun for example. Regardless of how new the planes were at the time, their school still invoke old fashioned dog fighting. Something that has been around since fighter planes were a thing.

I'm well aware of the apparent evil within the current government, but at the same time, right now our main focus is to make sure an even bigger Evil doesn't take it's place. Trudeau, Ford and all those guys may have done dirty tricks to our own people, from bringing in Covid infected people into the country, to making those on ODSP's lives a living hell, pale in comparison to the shit Putin is doing right now. The fact that even they are willing to stop them at every term, at least to me, is a good example of "Even Evil Has Standards." It's also why I have faith that even the crooks in this country are gonna kick ass. They may exploit people for profit, they may be criminals, but they are Canadian Criminals.

The fact that we are divided nearly 5050 on the sanctions shows at least some people are sick of merely going the legal route. That they want to either not get involved or do worse than put Putin in jail.

Putin wouldn't nuke us. We are one of the few countries that still retains natural resources. Not to mention why take over a country that has been devastated by the fallout? He may be a crazy asshole doing stupid things, but even he's not that stupid.
