Bro this is so true, and not even in the sense of just vaccines. I’ve known about my Autism since I was 2 years old, and even though I’ve never been treated like this (yet), many people have and it needs to stop. I know people on Discord use Autism as an insult too. I’ve seen them do it many times and I’ve been offended time and time again. I’ve even told them multiple times that I’m Autistic and that they should stop because they may be offending people who do have it but people just don’t seem to care anymore. You think just because we act differently from everyone else means that you can use Autism as a joke? Everyone acts differently from everyone else. Autism is a real thing and it affects real people regardless of how intensive it is.

I didn't know about mine until I was about 13. Even then, when my social worker at the time mentioned Asperger's, I misheard her and thought she said "Ass burgers." Ironically it seemed the South Park guys came to that conclusion when they did an episode on it. Lol.
But ya, when I first heard that stuff about using Autism as an insult, I was both pissed off and confused. In terms of confused, I never understood why they would use that one specifically. As much as I hate this word too, I kinda miss the days when the word "Retarded" was the blanket term. Still bad, but at least it didn't single out a specific disorder. Using Autism as an insult, just encourages people who know next to nothing about Autism, to go after Autistic people for kicks.
