He believed two things. One that verbal emotion could affect the physical environment and Two, that water can hold memories. To test both he made 3 jars of boiled rice filled with water. Each one labelled "Poistive" "Negative" and "Neutral". He would then spend weeks speaking compliments to the positive jar, insults and yelling to the negative jar and leaving the neutral jar alone. Now after say a month or so of doing this, the negative jar rotted faster than the neutral and positive jar. As a result he continued to do research and discovered that Water Crystalizes differently depending on the environment. For example some crystals are beautiful when exposed to positivity, while others appear jagged when exposed to negativity.

In a way it kinda is. That said I do wonder if Emoto's theory would work on this.
