Well, most if not all fiction is based on/in reality, but some aspects may be exaggerated. All readable text is written by humans, so that's most likely why it relates to us.

And in the case of fiction predicting the future or fictional exercises being used in real life, perhaps it could be that the authors were knowledgeable in that subject(i.e Simpsons writers being mathematicians), or at least had enough knowledge to make an educated guess on what is possible(situps, pushups, squats and running are basic exercises, so more of them more often sounds like they'd make you even more fit)

So maybe you've got it the wrong way around: reality isn't like fiction, but fiction is like reality. "Art imitates life" and all that

Makes sense. After all Truth is Stranger than fiction.

is water really wet type beat
love your music btw

Thanks.

dont really agree. but i do get ur point

That's ok. Even if you disagree at least you understand my point.

@CIEIRMusic i believe fiction can affect reality. something like a propaganda cartoon or some shit.

also, i do enjoy ur posts like these

Well that was part of what I was getting at. Another commenter said that Art Imitates life, but I think it's a little of both. Stories have been told ever since the time of Cave Paintings. Some people take inspiration of the stories the way they interpret them, to improve life and in turn make more Art.

Take propaganda cartoons like The Ducktators for example. Even with the socially acceptable offenses at the time, their main message was that the Allies would win the war. And while it took Adolf to off himself to officially end it, the Allies won.

Also thank you for enjoying my posts. You've been one of my strongest supporters ever since I started on this site and I'll never forget it.
