First of all I heard Jes' side, the girl was the one that talked him into it. Second of all, I don't give into mob mentality as easy as most people on newgrounds. My decision regarding my opinion of Jes, was based off stopping and thinking, listening to the story at all angles and piecing together what I think happened. It may not be one that everyone agrees with, but make no mistake. I don't condone pedophiles, Shotacons or Lolicons. And not only was I a hair away from disowning him myself, but instead, I made him swear a blood oath to me a chance to redeem himself. If the man was asking where she lived or making her show nudes or showing nudes himself, he would have been out of my life. But hearing the story, I came to the conclusion that this whole thing was one huge misunderstanding blown out of proportion. First of all I never said it made him justified in doing it. I literally look at the story from all angles and piece together what I see. The only reason why I even bring up the fact that she talked him into it, was because as sick and disgusting as it sounds and it is sick and disgusting, there have been known cases where kids have gone after late teens to early adults sexually. There have literally been decades of TV shows and movies that cover the subject on all angles. I don't condone the way Jes handled the situation, he fucked up. Plain and simple. Joe knew what Jes did and kept quiet about it, only going after him for a petty reason of him getting kicked off his discord. Invader Daniel kept quiet about the screenshots and only brought them out to back Joe up. The whole entire reason I even fought in this in the first place was that what they did wasn't noble, nor did anyone ever stop to think that there was more to it than what Joe said and ID shown. I studied Law in High School. One of the things we watched was 12 Angry Men, a movie about a court case where the jury decides whether or not a murderer is innocent or guilty and the whole thing was about the importance of "Reasonable doubt." The whole case has given me reasonable doubt and I stand by it. If you think that makes me Evil so be it. Bu there's an old saying "Lies only become true, when person wants to believe it." But do not for a second insinuate I'm defending Paedophilia here, I am merely pointing out that there is room for doubt in this specific case. I bust every Pedo on 100% certainty. When I first found out about it, it only gave me %80 because I felt there was more too it. When I heard all sides of the story, it lowered it to 30% The only reason why I even remotely give him a percentage is because what he did was wrong, I will keep reminding him of that and I am determined to help him find redemption.
