New Lease On Life/Get The Fuck Out More

Posted by CIEIRMusic - December 10th, 2023

YOU!!!! YES YOU!!!

If you're reading this on the following devices:

  1. Smartphone.
  2. Computer.
  3. Smart TV
  4. Anything else with an internet connection.

Listen to me very carefully. We cannot rely on our screens anymore, they do not provide comfort for us. We can use said screens, for at home, relaxing and either playing some games or watching some other form of Entertainment. However, we lost our way. All of us. Me included. And I know why. We stay home too much. Yes, Covid did not do us any favours by trapping us inside our own homes. Robbing us of our freedom of movement, our education, our appreciation of the world around us good and bad. But that is no excuse. None. Because before it hit us, our eyes were glued to any screen that catches our attention. We never stop and look around and take the world for it is, faults and all. So I'd like to ask my 214 fans, as well as anyone they know to do one thing. At least for a day. It could be any day, where you can have spare time, but once you do this properly and I mean properly, then I guarantee that your life will feel a lot more easier.

These are simple steps and they depend on how stubborn you are.

Step 1: Turn your devices off for the day save for phone calls.

I don't know if you young whippersnappers know this, but before you used your phone for youtube or -insert stupid social media bullshit here-, phones were mostly used for calling your friends and family to let them know you come to visit them or take them on outings. Unless you need your phone to call some people you want to hang out with, do not I repeat do not use your phone for the internet. Shut that mobile data and wifi button off. Unless you're using Speaker Phone or headphones, the Phone should only be put in your pocket or be next to your ear during a call. Allowing your eyes to see the real world for what it is. All this internet drama, is petty bullshit everyone indulges in out of boredom and all it does is ruin reps and make people feel more miserable. Internet should only be about connecting the world and finding entertainment in healthy ways.

Step 2: Get The Fuck Out There:

Get out. No seriously Get out. Get out of your house take a short walk, be it around your neigborhood and explore. See things you wanted to see before, but couldn't because you didn't have the time or it just took a backseat to other priorities. Visit a park, go to a local fair, watch a movie in theaters more often. If you live in a place where they have arcades, play there. If your local sports team is playing that day, find some tickets or go to a sports bar to watch the game. Find ways of having fun without relying on social media or tabloid or net drama bullshit in general. Just because there are new ways of having fun does not mean the old ways have died and even so the old ways are much more healthier. Plus, wherever you go, whatever you do, there's the added mystery of never knowing where you're gonna be or who you're gonna meet. Now make no mistake, you still have safety to consider. First explore places you've been to give you the literal definition of comfort zone, but once you get used to that zone, go a little further and see how far outside you can reach. Next unless you can handle yourself, never go out alone. Even if you're an adult, have a friend or family member with you at all times. They can double as your extra eyes and ears.....as well as fists and feet.

Step 3: Explore Watch and Learn

Sometimes listening to word of mouth, is never enough because even if it's good advice, someone whom has neither heard said advice before or think one is smarter than the person giving the advice never listens. Mainly because it wasn't THEIR idea. So needless to say both good and bad, they often have to experience this shit for themselves to believe. It's one of the reasons why Religions and lack of them are often, in constant debate, because one seen something the other didn't. Now you can chalk this up to faith, the placebo effect, coincidence, karma or just plain luck or some even believe in it so wholeheartedly based on the things they seen and experienced, but you're never gonna win the argument either way, because one person saw something you didn't see. Either try to see for yourself or talk to someone that agrees with you. Same goes for life exploration, even something as simple as a walk to the woods varies from person to person. Some see a beautiful scenery. Others see various energies emerging from it. Some believe the Gods/Goddesses themselves live in these woods, be it the air or the matter. Some just think it's a stupid place to go full of trees, bugs and other wildlife. Everyone has their own experience with it and it could make the trip worthwhile or be a massive waste of time. Either way, you'll never know unless you try it.

Step 4: Have Fun:

No matter where you go. No matter what you do. Enjoy yourself. Even if it's a short walk or a long journey, find something fun about it and hold onto it for as long as you can. That's pretty much it.

But essentially you have to unplug both figuratively and literally, take a big break from what's bothering you and when that's done, your mind will be much clearer. Your body and soul will also follow.

Find something you'd like to do that doesn't involve the net and do it at least for one day. Who knows, you might want to do it for more than one day.

I wish you all well for now. Stay safe and Stay Tuned For More.

i tend to use the web for art, bad translation lols, and memes. plus talking with online friends. would that still be bad?

Well if you're using the web indoors that's one thing, but outdoors. No tech. Phone calls only.
