When I saw this I immediately thought of the part where his dad beat him. It was in the Japanese version. Whereas the American version, the dad simply yelled at him.

In terms of the overall work, it looks amazing. The background is very mystical. The symbol looks great. I love his expression too. The Eye of Hope is an especially nice touch.

I have personally put this on a playlist dedicated to fanart based on my work and characters.

I always warn people this. "Don't piss off a hot witch." because if you make your move and break her heart she'll curse you. This particular one makes it impossible for anyone not to make a move on her.
