Not bad. Good commentary, with a creative way to express it. Though if I were to suggest one thing. It would be this. Empty plots beside them that mark the animals that are on the endangered list. With the headstones saying "Reserved for -insert animal here.- " With the human race being the last one.

Scary, but the shape and the pattern of the cracks make it look like a turtle shell.
