To me being a free person means no one has the right to define your destiny but you.
As for the song, it has a lot of atmosphere.

Thank you for your feedback. Everyone has their own word
Much more smoother than the first version.
yeah, probably because I used FL here, but stil the drums are still really bad... but still pretty good one yeh
Not bad. Definitely fits in with the Nintendo games of Old.
Oh I'm thinking about uploading a few songs in nintendo ds game soundfonts, I hope I can capture the same feeling I guess?
This would definitely fit in with the Madness series. That Guitar alone shreds.
Ayy thanks, yeah it was a pretty fun one to do. In hindsight, I did get abit too aggressive with DeEssing across the entire project, but that's something which I'll have fixed the next time I do a track like this!
This would fit right into 80s horror.
Does remind me that I need to finish this old draft off at some point haha
Thanks for checking it out!
In terms of your attempt, you succeeded. In terms of the overall song, it's not too bad. You should advertise this to people that want music for their works.
Idk where I could advertise...
The beginning has a lot of buildup and atmosphere. I can easily imagine being in a situation like this music conveys. The tension leading up to the meat of the song, was very fluid, doesn't get in one's face, but still gives a good sense of dread. Like where you are in space is not necessarily a good thing. The vocals are pants pissing terrifying. Overall a great work.
The vocals in two parts did take awhile to design, but were certainly fun to do!
The first lot around 1:26ish is a mixture of around 30 Female Vocal chops that I've ran through one of my custom MondoMod presets to give it an 'Artificial Alien' kind of tone, before doing abit of parallel pitch-shifting at 50/50 to give it some additional depth
The second load of vocals at 2:25 were self-recorded through guttural work (I have a background in both Black and Death Metal from years ago, I learned and practiced how to do multiple vocal styles during my teenage years haha). I've actually up-pitched the original recordings so they were more decipherable and then ran them through parallel-shifting as well at around 50/50 along with some regular fast-chorus to warp the edges of the signal
Quite pleased with how the track turned out, it was a rushed-weekend job and still somehow got the highest score in Round 1 of NGADM2020. Certainly better than the mess i was doing beforehand haha
Thanks for checking it out!
This one's pretty upbeat.
thanks ^_^ i think so as well
Not bad for your first one. Has a bit of a an actionized feel to it.
Thanks Dawg, it started off as me just playing around.
