You know how in the old days a husband referred to their wife as "The old ball and chain."? While many believed it was because they were accusing their wives of dragging them down or holding them back from their self proclaimed potential. To me, I thought it meant every wife had a ball and chain flail in case their husband did something too stupid beyond saving. This picture was what I imagined exactly. Lol.
