She looks like he just recovered from the mother of all hangovers. The animation is very smooth here.

Well, she has been drinking with Ran.
Ran is the goddess of the sea in the Nordic mythology who pull down sailors into the depth with her net and drowns them when she gets the possibility.
So drinking with Ran would be a kenning for drowning or in this case almost drowning.
