There wolf. There castle. Lol. Nice Mel Brooks reference.

In all seriousness, I wouldn't want to meet this wolf.

PerKGrok responds:

Thanks :)
That is probably a good call.

For starters. She herself looks cute.

Second I like the story. Aside from it being short and sweet, I love how she's become the median between the other two. Where one lives a life of bad luck, the other lives a life of good luck, she has a balance of both.

shintsukimi205 responds:

First, fun fact, you kinda made Crysie's day, and at a good time!

Second, I never really thought of that, actually..! Talk about coincidence, so good eye!

- Crysie

I love how the kid with the broken arm is more cheerful than the other one.

LiteralHat responds:

She fell off the stairs in the last artwork, but yeah. better things to cry about i guess lmao

Easier said than done in my case, but I appreciate that you're looking out for other people this way.

As for the context of the picture, it is nice to see this person take the time to call their mom.

LiteralHat responds:

Thought someone would say something like that. Fair enough haha, everyone has different relationships.

And yes, he calls his mom all the time. Gotta keep in touch.

They look like they're gonna kick someone's ass.

CandySweetssJr responds:

It's all about that intimidation :) .

She looks like even she doesn't know what's going on in this picture. Plus love the technicolor look.

LiteralHat responds:

It's a fever dream!

That looks scarier than the Disney version. I never thought that'd be possible.

Schreckengast responds:

I was worried as I was drawing it that as a redesign it was going to look like it belonged in Johnny Depp Alice in Wonderland, or other awkward reboots.

First off love the stain glass look. The only thing missing is some kind of reflective texture, but not everyone puts that in their art so it's less of a criticism and more of a nitpick. As for the story itself, that's a hell of a legend. While I'm sad he had to die for it, everything seemed to come up roses for him after. A positive contrast to Ashes.

shintsukimi205 responds:

I'll make sure to keep note of that if I ever do it again next time!
And, yeah! Somehow, in regards to that contrast, to me, at least, it could somehow apply to both Rey and Ikuro as a whole, especially since they're siblings. I also somehow see it to how they both deal with problems thrown at them - Rey being the one who eventually uses her all and begins to self-destruct when things are either not working or if something haunting her was brought up either accidentally or intentionally, Ikuro being the one who does the same, but tries to get up even if chances are unlikely, even if he's forced to crash down. Though another thing that makes them different is that Ikuro has no clue on what it's like to depend on others and follow their lead, whilst Rey's the best of both worlds in independence and dependence.
Not saying one's worse than the other, but I find it interesting, to say the least.

That fire looks beautiful.

CandySweetssJr responds:

Thank you :) . I tried my best to capture the moving flames.

Hard to tell with the helmet, but Doom Guy looks pissed.

Redead-ITA responds:

But i didn't draw any face in there.
