Judging by the hurt look on one Goblin's face and the angry strut the other is doing, I cannot imagine what he said to to make the other walk away like that.

Yes, they sure hurt each other during an argument.
What happens is that he is "The traveling blacksmith" and he wants her to learn the business, but she is more of an architect, she prefers to build buildings and machines instead of armor and swords.
