Once again I've made it on the Tank Tribune:

https://thetanktribune.newgrounds.com/news/post/1272243

Specifically again on the Artist News Section:

iu_637474_8383057.jpg

This time they had me when I was promoting my Lovecraft Noir Series:

Lovecraft Noir Series

Once again I like to thank the good people at @TheTankTribune for featuring me once again and a major shout out to all else that got in today as well.

Funny enough if I keep getting into this paper I may become a well known name on here. I just hope it leads to better things.

Another entry worthy of the corkboard:

When people think of the date, Friday the 13th, they often think of the following things.

Some older people are very superstitious, believing that the day marks bad luck. To make matters worse they of what the following things:

1. Black cats. They fear crossing their paths cause bad luck.

2. Going under step ladders.

3. Breaking a mirror. They believe that causes seven years bad luck. Makes me wonder how many mirrors I broken.

However other people often also think that Friday the 13th is the opposite. Some more Pagan religions believe it's one of their power days. That it increases both their luck and their power. Something I believe in myself because not only my pagan, but I somehow managed to conveniently win $13 on a $3 bingo ticket on this day. Have fucked up is that?

However there's only one other thing I think of whenever the name Friday the 13th is mentioned. Jason Voorhees. For those are you don't know, Friday the 13th was a series of horror movies that centered around the character Jason Voorhees. The hockey mask machete wielding Undead serial killer, that storms the grounds Crystal Lake New Jersey. When I was a kid, they used to show marathons of Friday the 13th, back on Spike TV. One of which I'm recently watching on AMC where the channel used to be.

With those factors in place, I think Friday the 13th is the best luck day, too ones that either know how to work the luck or scared of bad luck on that day.

You're looking at a guy, who has a kid had no problem being around black cats. If anything they're the cutest cat of the group, short of calicos and tiger striped tabbies.

Instead of fearing this day everybody should celebrate it. Comment below both all the times you expect bad luck on this day, as well as any time you've ever surprisingly when he got in good luck on that day.

I was watching the newest episode of Family Guy. Normally save for some episodes I didn't like the Disney shit, but I felt I had to watch this one for a specific reason. The episode is entitled "Girlfriend Eh?", in which Peter and Chris are on a quest to find Chris' girlfriend. The entire thing being a recent play on the old "I have this Girlfriend In Canada." Joke American teenagers use so that, people wouldn't shame them for being virgins. In fact the joke has been around for at least 40 years. As the first mention of said Joke was in John Hughes' Breakfast Club. In which Brian made the same joke in order to get Bender to back off when he asks him if he got laid. Of course Bender being Bender, he pressed on causing Brian to do a fall back joke implying he and Claire had sex.

Anywho. If it were the 80s, the joke would make sense as the internet was in it's infancy and Online Dating hasn't been started let alone perfected yet. However the joke I am sorry to say falls flat here and I'll tell you why.

We have billions of different chatting and dating apps out there, that not only allegedly finds you a match, yet also allow long distance relationships with dates regardless who is from where.

Literally the only way your joke will ever work anymore is if you can convince the world that there are no women in Canada. Considering you all once tried to convince the world that Canada itself doesn't exist, this shouldn't be a problem with you.

I honestly think this joke is no longer funny and should be laid to rest until, there comes such a time when the internet no longer exists.

First and Foremost I should address something. For a brief time. DJElectricJes returned to Newgrounds and posted sone music. He has since been kicked off again. Save for being added to the project along with @ElectricSakura16, I have no involvement with the contents within.

Neither the song nor the author's comment are my doing. However, unless demanded by the Mods or Tom Fulp himself I will not remove them either out of respect for my friend.

As for his detractors. I will neither acknowledge them or confront them in any way, because it's that kind of attention they seek. They're parasites and deserve no attention from anyone.

For the rest. Stay tuned for more stuff from me.

Damn this one took me a long time. This series was a complete and total accident, yet I enjoyed every single minute of it.

The whole thing started out as an unscripted, improvised, deadpan comedy skit that can be seen here:

Yet it started to blossom, thanks to this interactive horror:

Once I realized what I've got. I just kept going until you see this beauty before your eyes:

I've managed to do a complete series on Newgrounds and I did it all by sheer accident. No words can describe what I'm feeling right now.

So far Two Thirds of the Story have already been published in Bandcamp Albums as seen here:

Lovecraft Noir: The Complete Series aka chapter 1

And Here:

iu_629485_8383057.webp

Lovecraft Noir: The Next Chapter aka Chapter 2

With the third one on the way soon.

Honestly I'm surprised I was able to finish it. So many new ideas and all of them put into this. Maybe I could make this a continuing series some day, but until then enjoy what you have:

Thought I'd do another of these since I made so much material to put on there it'd be easier to advertise all at once.

iu_626613_8383057.webp

Exploring The Furthest of Regions

Where you imagine yourself on a trip to the edge of the universe. With horrific results.

iu_626614_8383057.webp

From Beyond Audio Book

After having so much fun with Herbert West Re-Animator, I decided to do another audiobook.

iu_626615_8383057.webp

Lovecraft Noir: The Next Chapter

After so many new ideas came flooding in I had to expand on this story.

iu_626616_8383057.webp

H.P. Lovecraft's The Outsider Audio Book

The one Lovecraft story, more sad than scary. Find out why.

Also every Friday, I get full price of each album bought. Anyone with money to burn may want to look into that. Lol. In all seriousness, though I hope you enjoy these enough to contribute to them.

To better get to know the man behind the monsters I watched this documentary:

iu_626520_8383057.jpg

The title itself was based on a quote Lovecraft himself said, based on his overall horror work.

"The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear and the oldest strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknown."

The documentary was made in 2008 and had interviews from various filmmakers and authors who were inspired by or even went so far as to adapt his work. From Re-Animator's Stuart Gordon, to Sandman's Neil Gaiman to Legendary Filmmaker John Carpenter.

This documentary went through everything. Not just the work and his influence, but his overall life. Which of course includes the very racism many people have tried to cancel him over way after his death.

At first I wanted to shut it off, because I felt like I heard it all already. However, there were a few things that took me by surprise. When I first heard of his racism and how far he went with it, I thought the guy was basically being the world's first troll. He does have a dry sense of humour. It wasn't until I listened on that they told me the root of that problem. For starters, like everyone else in that time, Lovecraft had trouble adapting to a changing world at first. He was what was known as a puritan which he inherited from his parents. Much like everyone else at that time though, he was also swayed by the commonality of said racism. Not just going after black people, Jewish and asians of all kind, he was also prejudiced against certain whites as well. Including but not limited to the Irish. However as he grew older both his writing and his mindset began to change. He started becoming more tolerant. At least as tolerant as one can be living the last remaining years in the 1930s.

Funny how no one aside from that documentary and Barnes and Noble mentioned that. The latter of which doesn't think it's relevant. Which I call bullshit on.

I don't know where we went wrong in fighting racism, but somewhere along the lines we as a species, decided to drop the notion that racists can be reformed. Between the 1960s to the mid to late 2000s, even some of the most intolerant people were given a chance to change their ways and help for the better, but 2010s and on, the second you mention a slur once, you're branded for life. That unless you kill yourself or some radical activist decides to do the job for you, people will continue to try to ruin your life.

I honestly wonder who the real prejudice is after that.

H.P. has been dead for almost a century. Nothing his writings say would suddenly make one racist. The worst we got the past decades were people too into the Cult of Cthulhu. If Barnes and Noble thinks his last years of reformation do not matter, then by implication neither should his racism either. You can't have one part of the story going without reading the rest of it and you call yourselves a book publishing company. Fuck you. Had he lived past 46 the man would have not only had the capacity to change his ways, but prevent future generations of authors, from making his mistakes.

I say we should bring back the means to reform racists and if others are willing to change their ways, then they should be given the same chance you all never gave Howard Phillips Lovecraft.

Of course that's just me.

April Showers Bring May Flowers,

Yet the days don't stop going sour.

War and disease driving all up the wall.

Some may not even survive it at all.

But do not lose hope, nor happiness and joy.

It gives those that hate you the right to deploy.

To torment, to torture, to hurt and to kill.

To destroy you and bring your life to a still.

Fight back at these bastards with everything you got.

Even if you're at the risk of getting shot.

Survival is all about getting through all.

That life has to offer and throw you big and small.

So take this advice and then you will know.

It's all worth it now to see May flowers Grow.

It's been a while since I did a newspost on this, but I thought I'd talk about this now.

I was born in 1991. 1 year after 1990. Specifically 1 year after the Cold War has ended. Because people were having a much needed break that lasted for a decade, it really made us all believe that the worst was over. That was until the Towers got hit. I was a kid at the time, but I saw it live on TV the second plane crashing into the second of the World Trade Center buildings. It does not remotely compare to what the people seen in public, but it was horrifying enough. Wars big and small continued to rage on and even with the deaths of Osama and Saddam, we were duped into believing that the worst was truly over. Then the Pandemic hit and just when things began to stablize the Russia/Ukraine conflict happened.

Now as much as I hate war, conflict and disaster I have come to a very messed up, yet still sensible conclusion. I believe we are on what I like to call a Darwinian Repeat. One that we failed many times over the past centuries.

For those who do not know what I am talking about hear me out.

Darwin. Whom many of you know as the guy that came up with the idea that Humans evolved from Primates, had other theories he was well known for. "Survival of The Fittest."

Now whenever someone in the modern world. Hell even someone centuries before during and after those words were written, hear these words. They like many other patrons, interpret it their own way. In this case the bulk of the world thinks it means that you're stronger if you kill anyone and anything else to get ahead. It's that mentality that is one of the main causes not just of this war, but ALL WARS!!

What it really means is that strength is tested through the hardships of life itself.

When the shit hits the fan for us, be it a minor infraction or a major disaster, there are two kinds of people. Some with the drive to keep moving forward and some with no will that would rather stay behind and die.

It's one of many reasons why this world is eroding. Because we repeat the misinterpreted bullshit version of those words and will continue to do so, until the world dies with us.

However. There have been times when people come close to breaking that cycle. Many soldiers turning the tides in war when the odds are against them being the big examples.

They weren't trying to kill the people in their way, that's incidental, they were trying to survive and make it home to their families and these people just happen to be in the way of that. They were surviving not just for themselves, but for other people in their hearts.

The same applies here. Putin pretty much threw everything they could at Ukraine, not because they want them all dead, but they want them all to surrender. Yet time and again, not only does Ukraine fight back, they'd rather die than rejoin Russia. Those threats to nuke are just empty threats, a last desperate resort from a scared, dickless dictator who can't comprehend why Ukraine doesn't want him in their country. Which is why ultimately he'll lose.

Everything he did up to that point was scare tactics.

So instead of trying to talk him out of it I suggest everyone and you're gonna think I'm nuts for this. Every single person around the world, egg him on. Show him that we'd rather die than let him rule over everything, since Ukraine isn't his only target.

I'll even get it started.

Go on Putin. Enter the code. Turn the Key. Push that red button. I fucking dare you. What are you waiting for. Do it. Easy target right here, I might be vaporized if I get lucky. Go on. DO IT!!! DO IT YOU DICKLESS PRICK!!!

Someone with no remorse and real balls would have done it by the time it was posted. He can't nuke anyone because he knows the Radiation would risk polluting any resources he'd need from the countries he wants. Take Canada for example. He may have fucked us regarding the Oil imports, but we fucked him right back. We have more natural resources. Things that the rest of the world would kill each other for, if he were to nuke us or God forbid, Nuke the states, he'd risk destroying our trees, water and irradiating any ore he'd need for metal. Nuclear winter goes a long way after all. If he didn't care about those needs and he does, we'd all be history by now.

He's a coward. Show him what true survival of the fittest is. The strength to move forward no matter what he throws.

Every time you see a news report of him devastating another city, mock him as though you could do that in your sleep.

Every time you hear a speech from him that justify his actions. Imagine his pants catching on fire, because he's a fucking liar.

Point being, you have to downplay everything he does, not because it upsets others who are victims of it, but to show said victims just how pathetic he is. Give them the drive to move forward and mock him all the same. It's not too late.

We've been spending too much time trying to figure out how to fight this fucker and help the victims, when we should have spent time showing his true image.

"The enemy has only images and illusions behind which he hides his true motives. Destroy the image, and you will break the enemy." -Bruce Lee

I say let's destroy those illusions.

I woke up this afternoon and saw my notifications lighting up I go to check and aside from the usual likes and comments from my work I stumbled upon this:

iu_624106_8383057.jpg

https://thetanktribune.newgrounds.com/news/post/1268735

A while back @TheTankTribune did a post asking anyone to offer funny taglines for their next one. If anyone's interested, it's here:

https://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic/1454259

I myself did a list of them. More or less to let the funny bone out every now and then. Which can be seen here:

iu_624107_8383057.jpg

Now, first I was featured in the Phonograph:

iu_624108_8383057.jpg

That was cool, but I took that as a fluke. Then I was featured on their artist news section advertising my album at the time:

iu_624109_8383057.jpg

Now I would have been just fine if every now and then I was featured in those posts, depending on the opinion of the writers and editors. But the point being was I wanted to go for what hockey players call The Hat Trick. In which I was featured in that article three times. So needless to say, I was hoping my name would pop up again, but I never expected to be on the tagline. The literal top of the fucking page. This was my reaction:

In terms of press fame even on websites like this, that is about as on top as one can get. No innuendo intended. I mean holy shit. I know I bitch about not being successful financially, but in terms of critical and press, I don't undermine it. Any further and I'd probably be writing articles for it myself. That is of course if they would accept it.

First of all I would like to thank @The-Great-One. If you didn't find that tagline funny, it probably wouldn't have made it on there. Second of all I wish to thank @EscapistProductions who also found the ideas funny. And anyone from @TheTankTriibune I missed, thank you too. I would like to also congratulate those who are also featured even if I made enemies from some of you, I'm in too much of a good mood right now that it matters.

Most of all, I would like to thank my fans. Regardless of what happens, you have gotten me this far and I will not forget it.

Another addition to the corkboard:
