Bit of a follow up to this:

https://cieirmusic.newgrounds.com/news/post/1319441

Just recently I had to verbally tear apart some bible thumper who tried to judge JDF on the way he died.

Now while this person ticked me off, there are those be it Catholicism or other religions that believe that Suicide is the greatest sin a man or woman can ever commit. So it's easy to see why he or anyone for that matter would react this way. The taking of your own life is bad indeed. In his case, he thinks Jason David Frank is in Hell and that no one should praise him for it. And as much as I hate the guy for saying it, JDF is Christian so he most likely believes that too.

However, here's the thing.

The man from the start of his acting career, has dedicated a huge fraction of his life, before and after he had his own family and kids, to becoming a proper entertainer, teacher and role model to children all over America as well as the rest of the world. With the exception of some personal feuds, he doesn't have a mean bone in his body that I know of at least. He is also the closest thing to a real life modern warrior. His MMA Career has him undefeated and as tragic as his death was, the silver lining of it is that he died maintaining that streak before anyone could even take it from him and trust me people have tried:

If there is a Heaven and Hell, then I forsee two possibilities.

One, God will overlook the suicide part based on the deeds of his life, should God decide that they are good enough. Heaven will have gained a great soldier.

Two, he'll go to Hell and after spending some time lamenting, he'll remember what he said "Jesus didn't tap." and He'll fight his way through every circle not to escape, but to clean house. Meaning every demon and every terrible unashamed soul that has ever lived and died for over a millennia better watch out. Because Jason Fearless Frank is gonna do what he pretended to do on TV since 1993. Fight evil where he comes.

Either way, there is nothing and I mean nothing that will further ruin his rep in life or in death. Plus should there be an afterlife he's not alone, his brother and Thuy are with him too. So needless to say much like his Sentai Counterpart Burai. Not even Death can stop him from fighting the good fight.

And if any religious extremists have a problem with that, then wait. I'm sure once you're in Hell you can tell him yourself. Unless you're scared.

Jason, wherever you are, you're still a hero in my book.

I regret to inform you, that Jason David Frank, has passed away. While details surrounding his death are unknown. However some reports say he took his own life. This came at a huge shock to me, because this was moments after another hero of mine passed away. Kevin Conroy, whom many of you know as the quintessential voice actor for Batman. Needless to say I just watched my childhood die twice.

Jason "Fearless" David Frank, got his start in life as a Martial Artist as a Shotokan Karate Practicioner since he was a kid, in terms of his marital arts prowess around the time of his death he has become an 8th Dan Black Belt in Shotokan and has also filled his palette with Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Wado-Ryu, Muai Thai, Taekwondo, Judo, Wing Chun, Jeet Kune Do and Aikido, before he eventually came up with his own style. Toso Kune Do or "Way of The Fighting Fist." as opposed to Jeet Kune Do "Way of The Intercepting Fist."

However if you're like me, you know that his real claim to fame was when he got started in a popular 90s Television show "Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers" in which he played Tommy Oliver aka the Green Ranger, White Ranger, Red Zeo Ranger, Red Turbo Ranger I and finally The Black Dino Thunder Ranger. When the show began for him, he was only contracted for 14 episodes, however due to his popluarity of the Green Ranger skyrocketing, they tried to keep him on longer even with the sentai footage long since over, due to the death of his counterpart Yamato Tribe Knight Burai of Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger. However while many know him as the badass hero that transcended throughout the franchise, I first knew him as the Evil Green Ranger:

On top of Power Rangers and some other films and shows, Frank leaves behind Rising Sun Karate, the school he opened in an effort to get more kids interested in martial arts as well as a long career in Mixed Martial Arts under the name Jason Fearless Frank.

Frank's demise is one of many things that surround the Power Rangers name including but not limited to the death of his brother Erik Frank, whom guest starred on Zeo as well as the unfortunate demise of Thuy Trang aka Trini the Yellow Mighty Morphin Power Ranger I.

The man was literally one of the first heroes I've ever laid eyes on when I was a kid outside watching the usual Batman, Spider-man and DC animated stuff. My regret on the matter is that I never got a chance to meet him. From what I've seen over the years, the man save for a few feuds is as salt of the earth as one can get.

So in tribute to a great person I shall share with you the theme song that got him into super stardom:

Rest in Peace Jason and may the power protect you.

As most of you know, I often created art using my OCs to troll Putin. I figured a guy like him with a massive ego, would be so overtly sensitive that he'd blow a gasket if anyone started badmouthing him on the internet. I even went so far as make gifs invoking Assassin from the Newgrounds of Old such as these:

Now it seems that Ukraine's military has taken a similar cue according to Newsweek.

Ukraine Trolls Russia With Video of Soldier Surrendering to Drone

A Russian soldier is seen surrendering to a group of Ukrainian ground troops, all while being recorded by a drone. The video has since been shared by Ukraine's military on their social media and used to troll the hell out of the Russian Army and to an extent Putin.

While the war is far from over, I hope this gives some much needed levity to Ukraine's soliders, civilians and politicians after almost a year of terror.

I could not believe it. It was like something out of Hot Shots Part Deux. All that's missing is the late great Miguel Ferrer doing this:

The fact that they can get a good laugh out of this, gives me hope they may win this thing.

Who knows maybe that Rasputin song may be coming for Vlady sooner than we thought.

Picking up where this one left off:

https://cieirmusic.newgrounds.com/news/post/1318979

I decided to do concept art of Eldra's male form. For those who haven't seen this:

Spoilers. Eldra made her official onscreen debut in the form an unassuming man trying to gain entrance to the house of a pure soul, by claiming he lost his cat.

For this I had to make a guy who looked harmless, but had a hidden suspicion:

Creepy Rage:

Fake Worry:

I painted some crude lines on the arms as a way of showing Eldra hidden beneath this shell. But the idea being that on the outside this guy doesn't look like he'd hurt a fly, but on the inside the humans are the files to her.

While I was looking for ways to promote myself, I looked into V-Tubing. For those that don't know. V-Tubing is where you use a virtual persona for things like Livestreams.

I don't have a proper camera and mic set to do it, but I've already made an Avatar to test it out as well as provide concept art for my characters so that people would have a better visual than what I usually draw. To test this out, I made one for Eldra:

One of the most difficult goals of trying to promote myself, is literally trying to find more ways to promote myself.

Some say to do it through social media, but that can only do so much. I can't do live concerts because much of my stuff is midi based so it'd just be me standing there pushing buttons ala DJs and Daft Punk (God I miss that duo.). If I could find a way to simply do a live stream that jukeboxes my music, then I'm all ears as I always wanted my own radio station and that's the closest to it.

However I got to thinking, maybe if I can find a way to have some of my works adapted, even if no one pays for them, but uses them to both help promote themselves and promote my work then maybe I could get ahead and even get some paying customers to boot.

So here's what's gonna happen. Once and a while I am gonna post newsposts just like this one and I'm gonna put some of my work out there for people to adapt or add to their own.

In this case, I'm advertising some of my Audiodrama stuff, both my parodies and my mainstream work. I offer the first animator to answer full permission to adapt these free of charge, however they wish based on the following conditions:

  1. The obvious. Credit for my work.
  2. In terms of my more mainstream stuff, consulting me on the appearances and settings of the characters.
  3. A link to their profile and their works they consider their best so that I may promote them in return.

So here we go. For this I offer the following:

Lovecraft Noir and it's Eldra: A Lovecraft Noir Spin-Off

Behind The Squeak My Behind The Music Parody of Alvin and The Chipmunks. I offer my parody, because I figured if any new and up and coming animators want something to cut their teeth on, what better than to do it with a parody of something well known.

Other than the conditions I've set above, do what you want and have fun.

Thanks for reading, if you're feeling generous check out my bandcamp and tip me on Ko-Fi.

While emotions are a fickle thing, it's hard not to be fascinated by them. Even the negative ones like anger and sadness are fascinating to me because it's those emotions that show us how human we can be. However if there's one thing we all have in common other than our emotions, it's that certain things both good and bad can trigger them on a whim. Like a silent alarm alerting your brain and heart telling you "This is the time to feel this way." With happiness for example it could be the smell of a pretty flower or the the sound of a pleasant song. However if there's one thing we all have in common, it's that there is often something that no matter how good of a mood you're in, would always trigger a cry fest. With me for example, it could be scenes from movies or TV shows that do it in for me.

To list some these are the things that make me cry on a whim:

It's A Wonderful Life. Specifically the Mr. Gower scene:

For those who don't know, It's A Wonderful Life is a popular movie in which a man sees what his life would be like if he never existed. Now the unique thing about this movie is that we get a large montage of what that life is like, from George Bailey losing his hearing rescuing his brother from drowning, to him contemplating suicide in order for his family to get life insurance. However the thing that stuck out for me, was the Mr. Gower scene. George works part time at a drug store and milkshake bar. His Boss Mr. Gower who is crotchety and grumpy demands that he delivers a package of medicine for a sick kid. However George notices that by accidental negligence that, Gower put poison in the pills George was supposed to deliver. The reason for this is because he himself, found out his own kid died and he's been bitter since. When George returns without giving the pills, he gets slapped for his trouble, but when he tells Gower what he did, Gower is not only shocked, but relieved that George prevented him from making a horrible mistake. The strange thing about that, while I felt bad George crying, nor the slapping didn't trigger it for me, but when Gower realized his mistake and went to hug George, George reeled back at first, thinking he was gonna get hit again. It was so powerful I had to excuse myself to the bathroom so I could cry without disturbing those who were watching with me.

The Outsiders: Specifically Curtis Brothers Reuinited

This was from the movie based on the hit book, The Outsiders By S.E. Hinton. About two young Greasers, Ponyboy Curtis and Johnny Cade, on the run and hiding when Johnny kills a member of their rival gang the Socs (Pronounced SO-Sh), the church they hid in catches fire, prompting them and their friend, Dallas Winston to rescue kids trapped inside. Johnny gets seriously injured and all three end up in the hospital, where Ponyboy reunites with his brothers, Darryl and Sodapop. The hugging didn't make me cry, their crying didn't make me cry. The fact that Darryl tearfully said "I thought we lost you, like we did Mom and Dad." didn't make me cry........I bawled my fucking eyes out.

Bag of Bones: Michael Noonan grief scene.

One of the few Stephen King movies that didn't scare me, but made me feel sad all over, but not so sad as the scene I remember the most about it. The Story is about an Author (Big shock), Michael Noonan who lost his wife and decides to go to their summer cabin to get away from it all and try to jumpstart his writing. He encounters among most things, ghosts and a conspiracy by a millionaire who wants to kill his granddaughter. During the loss of his wife, they pull no punches, her death was very tragic, but the thing that really tugged my heart was the grief scene. After the funeral, Michael seems to take the tragedy well for the most part. That is until he gets home. Mike starts suffering from a nightmare involving a digital picture frame of him and Johanna the latter of which he witnesses being dragged under the bed. Once he wakes from them, he sees the frame under his bed. He picks it up and find himself laying next to the bed seeing if he'll see the apparition again. When he sees nothing, Mike breaks down hugging the frame and crying painfully.

Now many people don't like the miniseries, but if you're not moved by that part, then I'm sorry you have no soul. Me, I cry every time he does. Almost pin point accuracy.

And that's just movies and stuff. There are songs and certain events that would also trigger it. Let me know, what does it for you.

Why are people so stupid? That's a legit question, why are people so stupid? They must be fucking stupid because, for once this has become South Park Levels of Stupidity. Just a while ago I did a mini-news article on the "Missile" attack. Nato and Polish officials have concluded that the missile was Ukrainian, however that it wasn't their fault. Poland’s president, Andrzej Duda, called the missile strike an “unfortunate accident” and said: “We have no evidence at the moment that it was a rocket launched by Russian forces. However, there are many indications that it was a missile that was used by Ukraine’s antimissile defense.”

Yet Putin, the worshippers and anyone dumb enough to fall for his bullshit, want Poland to Falsely call Article 5. The code NATO calls when an ally of theirs is the victim of an armed attack.

Now, I know where I stand with Putin and the worshippers, however it's the idiots that piss me off the most and I'll tell you why. While the accident was a tragedy indeed, only two people got killed, by accident. Yet every single one of these idiots that fall for the bullshit, act as if Ukraine directly attacked Poland. That's just the surface level of stupidity.

However what really pisses me off, is that many of these idiots, are acting as if the past year hasn't happened. That the men, women and children that got slaughtered since February 24, didn't happen. That Putin is an innocent liberator and the West are all Liars and Propagandists. Hahaha....fuck you.

If there's one thing this tragedy has shown, is that people show their true colours. To those idiots out there, you don't give a damn what's going on. You don't give a damn about the people that got killed. All you care about is your fucking two cents on the matter. Well here's my two cents. NOBODY CARES!!! PEOPLE ARE FUCKING DYING!!!

I've seen some stupid shit in my time, but damn. Stop washing over, stop making this about yourselves and you know what, just stop talking in general. None of us should have gotten involved in this shit, but I'm gonna say it, we make the angry mob from Halloween Kills competent by comparison.

While I no longer talk politics, war will always be the exception of that rule only when said politics lead to war. Mainly to point out, how stupid people are for doing it over it. This being a major example of it.

Near Poland's border with Ukraine, an explosion destroyed a farm killing two people. While it's not 100% certain, the Polish Government believes that the cause was a missile made by Russia. Now whether or not this was an intentional hit or some collateral damage in the crossfire, I don't know. That being said, should it be true, should it be intentional, then it means that Russia openly declared war on Poland on top of Ukraine.

Now in a situation like this. Usually, the country being attacked or hit, would no doubt upon given the go-ahead, start fighting and firing back. Giving Ukraine an ally.

However, remember, this is Poland. A country whom has once been the first to be invaded and Conqured by the Nazis in 1939. And has since endured a lot of shit including the Cold War. Needless to say, they, nor any countries that fought for them in the war, would want them to go through that shit again. So it could go either way. If Putin is really that stupid and intentionally ordered his troops to hit the farm, then everyone around the world would be knocking at his door, with Poland and Ukraine's soldiers being the first in line.

But that's just my thoughts on the matter I could be wrong. If I'm right though, then Vlady is gonna get busted. Also, should he get busted, I dare any soldier to play this on a stereo:

Update: I received numerous debates on what caused it. Some are saying that Russia deliberately fired at Poland. Others are saying Ukraine fired to make it look like Russia did it. Some are saying that it was an intercept gone bad. There are plenty of motive for it to be either way regardless of whose side I'm on. However I still think Russia was responsible I still think Putin was responsible and I'll tell you why. This was not too long after Poland started kicking out their diplomats, suspecting them to be Espionage agents. So needless to say Putin's probably still kind of pissed off about that and he has attacked people for petty reasons before. This war being the first thing.

When you get right down to it, Emotions are the other half of what keeps humans going. The first half being Logic. However there have been so many differing views on certain emotions, that it's often hard to gauge what the right ones.

There are some who think the idea of emotions in general is positive:

While others believe emotions are the downfall of society:

There are even some who think some emotions are good while others are bad and constantly argue which ones:

However when you get right down to it, despite how people think or feel about them, everyone reacts to emotions the same way. With emotions. One gets mad, for example others either sympathize, get scared or see the angry one as the problem or the fact that the person is angry as the problem and so on. Point being they blame anger and think that to shut it down, you have to suppress it, lest you humiliate yourself at worse or get in trouble at best.

Then there are people who believe that only positive emotions should be allowed and negative emotions should be snuffed out. That we should smile all the time even if we don't feel like it. An episode of the Simpsons called "Moaning Lisa" put that into play and as a result Lisa got taken advantage of by her fellow students and teachers. The whole thing started because Lisa was suffering from depression or sadness as she put it and Marge tried to help her by giving her the advice of smiling all the time. When she saw what Lisa was going through, she changed her mind and allowed her to go see her Jazz Idol Bleeding Gums Murphy, which elicited a genuine smile from Lisa, because Marge finally understood her.

Now what's my view on emotions? Well to do that, I'm gonna list the basic ones. I know there's more than them, but I'm listing 8 of them.

Happiness

On the surface, happiness should be a no-brainer. As it's a positive emotion we all strive to achieve. However when you get right down to it, the struggle to be happy is not worth the effort unless you're aboslutely sure you will be happy. The fact that my neighbours below the border have a constitutional right to pursue happiness shows, how much of a struggle that could be. As someone who's been happy before, it's a good feeling and an addictive feeling, but the more one tries to force it on me, the less happy I be. Kind of a mindfuck am I right?

Sadness

I've known sadness most of my life. Like most of you, faced many tragedies. However that being said, despite that, I wouldn't trade away this emotion no matter how much it hurts and I'll tell you why. Sadness is by all definition, the feeling when your heart breaks. And while that is a terrible feeling, it does prove one thing positive. That you at least have a heart to break. Better to have a broken heart than no heart at all.

Fear

Many people think fear is the mind killer and they are right. However, that being said, being completely fearless isn't the way to go either. Fear tells you where the edge is, it helps you be more cautious with your life. Without it, you die faster than it takes for it to kill your mind. The trick isn't to eliminate fear, it's to face it on your terms and not be consumed by it.

Disgust

While many people can do without this emotion, as reacting to things in disgust is just as bad as whatever disgusting thing people witness. Reactions could range from verbal call outs ("WHAT THE FUCK!!") physical reactions (Puking) and invoking another emotion (Angry enough to hurt someone.). However without this emotion, a lot of people would be getting away with a lot of depraved acts in human history a lot faster. Much like fear and sadness, we need our disgust to prove that we are human.

Anger

Many, many people think that this is the emotion that destroys us the most. When in fact it's not. It's how we deal with said anger that could make or break us. Laws have been put in place so that we can't use our anger to hurt people. Fair enough. However not everyone can simply not get angry. There are many people of varying disorders, myself included, that have little to no outlet for our anger. The way I handle mine is I tell it like I see it. Something pisses me off, I express it. Someone pisses me off, I let them know. Whether they respond or not is their business, but it feels a lot good after letting that shit out. If I feel I need to hit something....well I'll wait until I get a punching bag. However there are so many ways to channel that anger. Participate in sports, write an angry letter to a television studio/celeb (so long as it's not threatening), buy a heavy bag or in Mr. Rogers' case pound some clay:

Now you're probably wondering why I'm paying more attention to this than the other emotions. I am sick and tired of people telling me not to be mad, that anger isn't ok. Anger gives us strength, determination and the will to get things done when the odds are against us. It's a healthy emotion and I honestly think those trying to suppress it are trying to get people killed. You keep Anger or any emotion for that matter suppressed without any outlet to take it out on and you may as well say bye bye to your health. True Anger Management, isn't about not being angry anymore, but to channel your anger into more constructive pieces. Music being one of my vents.

Surprise

Now this one is a no-brainer. Surprise regardless if it's in the negative or positive is one of the best emotions to have. Mainly because despite what we say otherwise, human beings love surprises. They love learning something new at sudden because it makes them feel special to have learned it.

Love

Love is one of the strongest emotions there is. One that many people have either misinterpreted or tried to stamp out. However while love is a good thing, how one feels love varies. There are some people who think that if they love someone, they're entitled to them. If it's platonic, that means they want to force a friendship. If it's romantic/sexual...well you get the idea. Yet they fail to realize that if they want to find any sort of love, it has to be mutual. The person has to love you back or it doesn't work. There have been so many times people made this mistake and it's a mistake I don't plan to make.

Hate

Much like Love, Hate is a very strong emotion. And like love, the word has been abused to the point where people can't tell the difference between hates. For example, a guy could say they hate the weather, but some idiot who associates the word "Hate" with "Bigotry" would call him racist against clouds. Sounds stupid, but it does happen. But also like love, Hate has to be mutual for it to work. You could hate The President of The Unitied States all you want regardless of who they are, but if they don't hate you, even if you tell them in person, then your hate is meaningless. Which in turn makes you meaningless if all you ever do is hate.

Overall, you must learn to come to terms with all your emotions, if you want to be able to control them. Otherwise, they control you. Always.
