CIEIRMusic's News

Posted by CIEIRMusic - November 17th, 2021

Over the years, Religion in one way or another, has often always been a part of my life. Whether it's my background, my own choice in what I worship or the equal amounts of curiosity and disgust of each one.

Much like many Canadian kids growing up in the 90s, the bulk of my family has often had Christian beliefs depending on which side. Some protestant and some catholic to name a few. I used to attend a presbyterian church in my youth and when I was old enough to decide for myself, I started out as agnostic, before settling for Paganism/Wicca. Mostly in Honour of my Mother who was also Pagan/Wiccan. I've also had connections through both extended family and close associates, in Judaism, few Hindu and Islamic friends just to name more. Basically long story short, I was a few religions away from having the entire world connected to me through it.

One of the things that I've often heard arguments about, even among the most pacifistic of them is which religion is the right one. Said arguments could often be harmless spats, but for centuries have often gone as far as being excuses to kill one and other.

Christians systematically discriminating Jewish people, Pagans, Natives and Muslims. Much of which often lead to genocide and nationwide takeovers.

Radical factions of Islam that try to make figures like Muhammad Ali and Malcolm X look bad by comparison even when they chose a more peaceful route prior to their demise.

Even my own religion, which I will defend the merits of, was not so innocent ourselves. Before the bulk of us switched over to harmless offerings like food, wine, herbs and even things like Tobacco and Weed, we were very guilty of blood sacrifice. If it wasn't livestock, it would be our own men, women and children. Sacrificed by the boatload until the hills ran red with blood.

Much of these acts are often the result of either an arcane system that can't adapt or change for the better or a rogue fashion trying to tear down those that do try to change. The Rhineland Massacres caused by a rogue group of crusaders. 9/11. An attempt to destabilize the world economy based on the twisted perverted versions of what a Rogue Islamic Group. The Roman Crucifixions. Many people mostly focus on Jesus getting nailed, but lest we forget he wasn't the only one. Many for lesser than what Barabbas did. Things like this that paint each religion in a bad way simply by association and one's own disbelief in what others thought were right.

When I was Agnostic, it was mostly because my whole philosophy is "Seeing is believing." and that I believe that there are things that even Science and Logistics can't explain. It wasn't until I witnessed a few things that put me firmly in the belief system I choose to be part of. However despite seeing and believing them, I've often saw little moments, that seem to point that the others were right too in a way.

It wasn't until I watched the Indiana Jones movies, that it hit me. For context, Director Steven Spielberg's religion is Judaism and he's very devout and proud of it. George Lucas who Co-Created it, is Buddhist Methodist. Which before, served as the ground work basis of the philosophies of the Jedi Knights in Star Wars. Yet two things.

  1. Despite each one set in their beliefs, even to this day, they remain the best of friends.
  2. Their series is based around the idea that every single Religion, Myth, Legend and if you count Kingdom of The Crystal Skull (Which I do. Fight me.), even the more science and science fiction based aspects of the world like Aliens all co-exist in the same world. Not just in spite of the contradictory differences, but literally spitting in the face of those that insist on the division. The Ark of The Covenant being as Belloq put it, a radio for speaking to the Hebrew incarnation of God and a wrath to those that disturb it. The Sankara being capable of affecting the surrounding environment in a positive and negative way depending on who wields them. The Holy Grail actually being a literal cup of Christ. All of which with some camp have been treated in awe and respect.

However despite how fantastic the idea is and the message that it sends to us regarding it, I can't simply take a movie's word for it, because of said contradictions. Yet most of these contradictions stem from simply people hearing the story different from each other. From the names and appearances of their respective deities, to the rituals one must perform on certain dates and times. Yet despite all the differences, such as some worshiping one God, others worshipping multiple, are they really all that different from each other. Many have sides that argue that their deities are either loving or vengeful. That they have to go to a certain building in order to truly reach them. That they must contribute to their religion be it financially or other means.

So it got me thinking. Are all the religions or at the very least some parts of each religion true rather than none at all?

One of my main goals in life was to get a copy of each well known book from each respective religion. The Bible, the Torah, The Quran, The Vedas. You name it I want it. Every sect including the radicals. Mainly because I believe that while the latter is batshit insane, they wouldn't have been this insane for this long without some kind of reason for it. Once I've collected all I would have them scanned page by page, with a word counter to count how many times certain words, similarities and other repeating patterns have been mentioned more than once. I believe that if I was able to gain enough of them, that I could probably piece together a universal truth, one that combines them all. Uniting them and the world as one and entering a new age of humankind.

What do you all think?

The new Sonic movie should have a funny nightmare where he's on mushroom world stalked by his old movie design.

I just started an NFT account on Mintable. Posted two NFTs so far. This particular account I'm using to create certain things based on my skills as an artist. Now this account uses the crypto Etherum as their main cryptocurrency and USD as their physical currency so anything I post for say 1 eth, would mean over 4000 US Dollars. Probably the most expensive I have ever charged anyone of anything, so I do not expect any of you fans, no matter how loyal you are or simply think it's the decent thing to do, to buy from this site. However, that doesn't mean you cannot help in other ways. Such as spreading the link to my page on Mintable.

https://mintable.app/u/cieirmusic

Who knows. Value may go up.

Update: When I made this post I was unaware of the news regarding the negative effect NFTs have on the environment. Let me make a few things clear. 1. I am very very sorry if I offended or set anyone off regarding this. You're all entitled to your say about it. 2. With that said, my part of the impact is relatively small compared to the thousands, maybe millions who's NFTs are worth that much in Dollars. I don't expect to do this forever, just long enough enough to try to get what I intended to get from it. The best way to describe this would be this.

Let's say you managed to live in a nice house. Environmentally safe, good neighborhood, relatively peaceful. Then one day while you're re-tiling your floor you discover under a loose tile, that you struck oil. Now you're very environmental, so naturally you don't want your house, let alone the surrounding area to be potentially polluted. Yet on the other hand, you'd be given enough money that at least a portion of it would be used to make up for what you potentially destroyed. Whether it's donating to an environmental charity or investing in a more cleaner alternative to what you used to get said fortune.

The same goes with things like stem-cell research. I was a kid when they first laid the groundwork for it. I never forgotten what they started with. Wanna know what they started with, before they found out that there were other ways to extract the cells? Aborted Fetuses. Now I myself am Pro Choice and Pro Life. By that I mean that I do not believe in abortion, but at the same time I will stand up for someone to keep their right to have an abortion. That being said even those that were Pro-Choice at least half of them didn't like the idea of corpses of developing babies even if the research offered the chance to save lives in the future. Then thanks to studying what they could from that, that was how they found out you could extract cells from parts people would throw away anyway. Like the Umbilical Cord or the placenta. Then they found a way to replicate fresh stem cells from the aged adult cells.

I have many plans should I become a success, including but not limited to using the finances I gain, should I gain them, to improve parts of the world for the better. Maybe even find a more environmentally friendly way to exchange, create, buy and sell NFTs in the near future. If they can have solar, wind and hydro as an alternative to Fossil Fuels, then there should be a way to make your fortune while reducing your carbon foot print.

In the words of Jeff Goldblum "Life finds a way."

Where America has both Veteran's Day and Memorial Day, today we Canadians as well as other members of the Commonwealth have Remebrance Day. November 11 is where we give remembrance to those that fought in the first two world wars. Some survived and lived full lives others died and were given memorials both on the battlefield and in their place of birth. To celebrate their sacrifice we donate to the Legion and in return wear the symbol of both peace and the fallen: The Poppy. Inspired by the poem "In Flanders Fields." By Lieutenant-Colonel John McCrae.

Over the years though, I've noticed a huge pattern of disrespect among some people. Just over a decade ago, some jerk decided to steal one of the Poppy boxes. Knowing full well where the donation money was going. Now Canada is a free country. If you don't believe in this holiday and believe in a lot of things regarding the negative side of war, I do not blame you for one bit. But to go as far as try to destroy it for those that do believe in it. Families who lost one of their own and want a moment to honour them, Veterans who sacrificed life and limb to give the very freedoms, most people take for granted. Those that treat them like dirt by actions like this, do not get sympathy from me. There are better ways to protest even if I don't agree with it and it makes those who simply want to boycott it, look bad by comparison.

Other than that I wish everyone well and like every other event in history never forget. In fact "Lest We Forget." Is the motto of this day.

Before Cobra Kai, William Zabka made many appearances as Johnny Lawrence. Mostly for gags.

One being the music video, Sweep The Leg, by No More Kings. In which Zabka plays a washed up mash-up of himself and Lawrence. Seen with his fellow Cobra Kai friends, while he laments his past failure. Only for him to try to put himself back in shape, train in a different style and see if he could beat Daniel/Ralph Macchio at his own game. Only for it to all be a dream and him being ran over by Macchio.

Another being a frequent guest star on How I Met Your Mother. The first of which also had Ralph Macchio. As a running gag, Barney Stinson, believes the villains of every movie are the real heroes. The big example being that he's a huge Darth Vader fan. In this case, he believes that Johnny Lawrence was the True Karate Kid of the story, because he was trained at a legal gym. During a surprise party for him, he was dissappointed that they got Ralph Macchio instead of Zabka, only to his surprise, that Zabka was with him the whole time. Disguised as a clown with his Cobra Kai gi underneath the costume. Making Barney's dream come true look even better since, in his mind, now that both are here, they'll have a rematch.

But my personal favourite of these gag appearance, is the one in 2011. It was a random Sketch on The Jimmy Kimmel Live Show. This was at the time when Ralph Macchio, was a contestant on Dancing With The Stars. Now I seen Ralph dance before. Karate Kid Part II's dance scene with Daniel and Kumiko was no stunt double, that was him and Tamlyn Tomita dancing on that floor. So I knew he'd be an ace on that show even if he doesn't win them all. But what I saw shocked the hell out of me. I don't know how Kimmel and Zabka got the right reactions to show Macchio's shock, but they super imposed Zabka as Johnny going after Ralph despite getting a perfect score.

It makes me wonder has Johnny been stalking Daniel everywhere he goes? Let's find out.

Here he is in Outsiders:

And Again in My Cousin Vinny.

iu_468012_8383057.jpg

And if Ralph thinks he can hide behind comedic legend Artie Lange in Beer League, he should have wondered if Johnny was a baseball fan.

iu_468013_8383057.png

Seems every where Ralph goes, Johnny Lawrence is ready to strike first, strike hard and show no mercy. Which is what we hope he will do in Season 4's Cobra Kai, which will be coming soon.

Light Harmony: What's wrong S.T.?

S.T.: Well, after our second album, I was stumped. I don't want to do another lesson album just yet, because while I was given good ideas from great artists, I want to do something between them. Something that shows us as more than teachers and protectors.

Light: Well when you got us to sing Creeping March of War it did get some good ratings on Newgrounds. Maybe we just make songs on various things outside the lessons and the encouragement. It would make us seem like a real band, rather than just edutainment.

S.T.: That's a great idea Light. What do you think Harmony.

Harmony: Well we could give it a shot. We'll sing to our hearts delight, but in the end it's all up to you. Among other things.

S.T.: What do you mean?

Harmony: Did I say that outloud? Forget I said that.

S.T.: Ok.....

Light: *Whispering* Jesus Christ Harmony, keep it to yourself.

Harmony: *Whispering back* Sorry it slipped out.

S.T.: Are you two ok?

Light Harmony: We're fine, forget it.

S.T.: If there's something you wanna talk about, I'm all ears.

Harmony: It's fine really.

S.T.: Ok then at the topic at hand. Ya, maybe we could make some songs. Could be anything from sad songs, to happy songs, but entertaining songs none the less. I'll let you two know when I'm ready for them. Until then, rest up. We got a lot of work to do.

Light Harmony: Ok S.T. we'll be waiting.

Ten minutes later in Light Harmony's Quarters.

Light: Ok Harmony, what the hell was that? Usually I'm the one making the remarks.

Harmony: I thought I could keep it together, but I may has well have given him an open invitation to me.

Light: This again? Sis, the man is two decades older than us. He's old enough to be our father and we're not even legal yet. Months to go before that.

Harmony: I know, I know. I don't know why I'm acting this way, if you could just see him through my eyes, maybe you'd understand.

Light: We may be in sync with each other, in many ways, but my one regret is that we see things differently. Besides, I don't think he's interested in women anyway.

Harmony: You think he might be--

Light: Surprisingly no or I would have suspected he wanted me. All the guy does is focus on work, taking care of us and the mission at hand. He might be Asexual.

Harmony: Well, I don't have to have sex with him to love him, but it does explain a lot. When it comes to the mission and our music, he's always looked us in the eye. Yet when it comes to topics outside that, even stuff about his own life, he always looks away. As if trying to change the subject.

Light: All the more reason why I suspect him. Still he hasn't steered us wrong before.

Harmony: Still there was something I did notice about him. Even when things seem to go his way, he seems quite sad. Depressed even. Maybe that's what's so suspicious about him.

Light: What do you mean.

Harmony: Remember when we were on the streets? We rescued that Urchin who was being pressured into joining that gang, I think it's name was Dark Divide. They were nothing but thieves and drug dealers back then. Yet it was like they fell off the face of the Earth.

Light: How can I forget? Despite how grateful he seemed that we got him out of there, he looked so sad. Like there was nothing left for him or that he felt it was too late to start anew. I remember the last time we saw him, we had to stop him from trying to kill himsel- No. You don't think.

Harmony: I think S.T. is suicidal. However, unlike most who'd rather do it alone or in the presence of others, he may have a particular way he wishes to die.

Light: Well every time we fought along side each other, he was the first to charge in. We thought it was brave, but now that I think about it, maybe he did it, so that he'd be the first to die. No wonder he looked dissappointed whenever we won. Do you think he intended to take us with him?

Harmony: The thought did cross my mind, don't get me wrong, but considering all the trouble he went through to make us who we are now, I think it may be something else he has planned for us. Maybe he plans to pass full duties onto us.

Light: It could be. Well let's just hope we can help as many people as we can, before he does.

Meanwhile in S.T.'s Quarters.

S.T.: What could Harmony possibly mean, when she said that. Come to think of it, whenever we're not working on our music or battling villains, she seems to react strangely to me. Always blushing at the mere sight of me. Nah. Couldn't be. Moral implications aside, I don't know what she would see in a guy like me. Maybe next time we go to a bar, I could try to hook her up with someone her own age. Someone who would treat her right. Maybe throw Light a bone too. I gotta keep a close eye on him. I can't tell them everything yet, but he's starting to get suspicious. In the mean time, I should just work on my music. Now what kind of song would they sing to....

While Halloween has come and went, that doesn't mean you have to stop listening to and enjoying scary music.

Just recently I put all of my Halloween Themed music on my Bandcamp.

Greats like:

They're Coming!

Aftermath of A Massacre

and my on the date Halloween Song:

Trick Or Treat of Death

But wait, there's more.

In addition to my songs being available my audios dramas are on there too.

If you want a good laugh at some Macabre Humour, look no further than: Swear Jar 2: The Darkside of Comedy

If you don't wish to sleep at night anymore, then check out: Open The Door.

But don't just look for them there, stay a while and look at some of my older works as well. Other than that, enjoy.

Someone once said that if you played Led Zepplin's song "Stairway to Heaven." backwards, that you'd hear satanic messages backwards.

Wanna know what happens when you play Country Music Backwards?

  1. You get your wife back.
  2. You get your job back.
  3. You get your truck back.
  4. You get your house back.
  5. Your dog comes back from the dead.
  6. You get to fish.
  7. You don't have to ship out to war.
  8. Your girlfriend doesn't cheat on you because you're not going anywhere.
  9. You don't get hurt in bar fights.
  10. Your liver repairs yourself so you can drink again.

I am a huge fan of Monty Python. A british sketch comedy show that starred many famous british actors and comediens. Many greats such as John Cleese and Eric Idle as well as famed british director Terry Gilliam had their careers blossom from that show.

The show itself was very famous for being one of the first comedies to take risks in humour. Risks such as allowing profanity, skirting the line of nudity, as well as other ways they managed to get past the censors.

One of my favourite moments has often been their dark comedy. Sketches such as "The Dead Parrot." About a customer complaining to the cashier about selling him a dead pet. Listing off the many ways of saying it's dead. From saying it passed on to saying it joined The Choir Invisible.

My fave of those sketches is called "The Funniest Joke in The World." Where a famous joke writer, creates a joke so funny, that all who understand it will die laughing. That is funny on it's own. It goes further by having the British Army try to confiscate it, research it word by word and translate it in German, so that it only kills German speakers. Then use it against the Nazis in World War II. Now part of the joke is meta in that we don't hear the joke in English out loud. Because maybe even the audience isn't safe.

However I often wonder is there such a joke? Would it be worth the risk of death just to see how funny it is? What do you think?

The golden rule of posting things on the net used to be, to do things anonymously. Don't tell people what you look like, where you live and most importantly: don't tell people how old you are. The reason being is that when you eventually get into fights, it would hurt less because neither party would care who was on the other side of the screen. It's just text. You could be arguing with an old man or a little kid for all you know, but because how how childish both sides would get, it wouldn't matter. Anonymity made us all equal in the world. However as the internet became more public, with social media and entertainment sites, that rule was not just broken but disintegrated. It's gone and the only thing keeping some of us from killing each other regardless of age was the age limit for travel depending on which country and the money to go there. Cowardice notwithstanding.

Yet the one thing that never changed, was the fights. People out there knowingly arguing, insulting and downright threatening each other even after knowing the age of each other. Just recently a 21 year old artist who shall remain nameless, belittled a 10 year old kid, on this very site. For making the mistake of posting in the wrong forum category. A common mistake anyone can make. That would have been enough, yet this person in the same post, proceeded to insult said kid, claiming he wasn't skilled at anything. I saw this kid's work, I know potential and hard work when I see it. And while said Artist is no slouch, this kid has the potential to be leagues ahead of this jerk.

That aside, this supposedly mature artist, knew how old the kid was and picked on him anyway. Who really is the child here?

Give @junoeddleman all the support and encouragement he needs. That kid is going places.
